NwHS Symposium - March 29-31, 2019
​Competitions

The 2019 Northwest Horn Symposium will feature four competitions for non-professional hornists.

All competition participants must be registered for the full symposium in order to participate. 
Competitors may compete in more than one category.

IMPORTANT UPDATE - Age restrictions have been removed for the mock auditions and NwHS solo competition.  Please feel free to participate! 

Indicate your plan to participate on your registration form.

Winners will be announced at the featured artist concerts of the symposium.

NwHS Solo Competition

Prize: $250; a solo performance on Sunday's final gala concert

​Fee to enter:  $15
Accompanist provided in second round.

Age restriction: None

Photocopies of music are not permitted if music is not in the public domain.  It is highly encouraged that Mozart should be in the original key (no horn parts in F).
