The Northwest Horn Symnposium 2019, held at the University of Montana from March 29-31, was a resounding success. Featured artists included the Four Hornsmen of the Apocalypse (Jacquelyn Adams, Paul Blackstone, Brian Brown, and Gerry Wood), Rachel Childer, and Marty Hackleman. The weekend was full of concerts, lectures, and masterclasses. Three ensembles came and performed during the event - the Montana Big Horns, Palouse Horn Ensemble, and the Central Washington University Horn Ensemble. Seven different vendors attended the symposium: Balu Musik, Cantesanu Horns, Conn Selmer, Eastman, Hans Hoyer, Morgenroth Music Centers, and Yamaha.
The whole symposium was a successful and rewarding event. Thank you to Zach Cooper and his studio for hosting this symposium!
